What can I expect?

A typical class will begin by centring the mind before the posture work (asana) which concentrates on releasing deep tensions in the muscles and joints rather than creating more tension through excessive stretching.

Correct breathing is important throughout the posture work but the class will also include specific breathing practices (pranayama).

There will always be a relaxation at the end of the class.
