Hirsch has lived in the North East for almost 10 years during which time he has gained Honours Degrees in Physiotherapy (University of Teesside) and Biomedical Sciences (University of Durham).
Prior to working in the NHS, Hirsch worked in London’s Fitness industry as a YMCA Personal Trainer. Hirsch’s vast experience in many sports enables him to tailor the perfect ‘injury prevention’ programme for a broad spectrum of clients and activities.
Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist, he has spent time lecturing on Undergraduate Physiotherapy Degree courses on a part-time basis. His previous experience of Physiotherapy work in the NHS encompassed many areas of the field including: Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Neurological Rehabilitation, Respiratory and Community Physiotherapy.
Hirsch has also spent time in Michigan (USA) working with adolescents with special needs helping them manage their respective conditions. As well as the USA, Hirsch has spent time living in the Middle East and Africa, bringing valuable multi-cultural awareness to the team.
Currently, Hirsch is using his skills in our team to treat & train elite athletes, conduct and apply long and short-term rehabilitation programmes and develop the hydrotherapy and gym-based rehabilitation services.
