Clinical Expertise: Occupational Health, Ergonomics, Sports Specific Rehabilitation, Hydrotherapy, Acupuncture & Personal Training.
Hirsch has lived in the North East for fourteen years during having gained Honours degrees in Physiotherapy (University of Teesside) and Biomedical Sciences (University of Durham). Prior to qualifying as a Physiotherapist, Hirsch worked as a Personal Trainer in London. Hirsch is a keen sportsman and his experience in a variety of sports helps him to understand and tailor the perfect ‘injury prevention’ programme for any client or activity.
Hirsch has also spent time in the USA working with adolescents with special needs helping them to manage and adapt to their condition. As well as the USA, Hirsch has spent time living in the Middle East and Africa, bringing valuable multi-cultural awareness to the team.
Hirsch has been the Occupational Health Lead in Body2Fit for five years. During this time, he has been involved with clients working in the full spectrum of workplaces from production lines to office-based – taking into account an individual’s needs and preferences, as well as their medical requirements. Hirsch is also extremely interested in Ergonomics, and is currently working towards his Masters in this area. He attends Conferences on Occupational Health and Ergonomic Design, thus ensuring he is always up-to-date with new developments in his specialist field.
